There’s lots of French in English. I didn’t realize there were so many French words in the English language: chef, cuisine, boulevard, camouflage, débris, début, bouquet, grand prix, façade, chandelier, chauffeur, cajole, arbitrage, naïve, nonchalant, matinée, macabre, entrée, résumé, communiqué, tranche, en route, rendez-vous, prix fixe, fiancée, and a whole lot more.
